The New Bedford Wellness Initiative’s Wellness Program is made possible through generous sponsorships and community partnerships. The program is free and open to the public. Weekly offerings include classes in cardiovascular exercise, yoga, meditation, smoking cessation and nutrition. Our classes are led by certified instructors and run every Sunday. The classes will start at 9:00 am end at 1:00 pm. Monthly offerings include a wellness walk, qigong, massage therapy, and the Southcoast Health Van which provides health screening, immunizations and health education. Our Walk with a Do program will start weekly in January 2018!
